We're Done

So today was our last official day working for Evangel. We basically spent the whole day alone at the church packing up our office. It doesn't look as empty as I was expecting. The walls are bare without all of our Lord of the Rings posters up, but the shelves are still pretty full of stuff.

Anyhow, it was pretty anti-climactic. We'll be back next Tuesday and Wednesday for one final night with all the youth groups, so I guess that will feel more final.

To be honest, at this point I don't know whether to feel sad or relieved to have finished our time at Evangel. I guess it's a little of both.

I felt the saddness and the relief also. I think the saddness is sometimes more of the people we feel we are leaving behind. The relationships we have built. The relief is all the other stuff that either bugged us or drove us crazy. I am not sure if you resonate with these things but they have been part of my process in this transition.

Very true Dave... btw, how is your own transition going?
