What are they smoking?!
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that local governments may seize people's homes and businesses -- even against their will -- for private economic development. (click here to read the rest of the article)

So in other words local governments now have the power to force people out of their homes and business, not just for public use (which is allowed under the 5th Amendment), but so that big corporations can come in and build Super Wal-Marts and shopping malls and office buildings, and so those local governments can then collect more in tax revenue. And once again, it's the little guys and the poor that get literally steamrolled to serve the interests of the Almighty Dollar.
