Do as we say, not as we do...
This past Sunday Doonesbury had a great strip which pointed out that while three of the top Republican presidential candidates (McCain, Giuliani, and Gingrich) have five divorces between them, all of them involving adultery, the three Democratic front runners (Clinton, Obama, and Edwards) have no divorces or infidelities. Then they asked the question: which party best represents family values?
It appears the Republican philosophy these days must be "Do as we say, not as we do."
Kind of reminds me of this story that Jesus told.
