Getting Off to a Good Start
So hopefully the past couple of days is not an indication of how this new year is going to go. On New Years Eve, just as Julie and I were settling down for a cozy evening in, Emma starts throwing up all over her bed. It's a good thing we had already decided against going out to the party some folks in our church were throwing (Julie wasn't feeling up to it) because I ended up being up with Emma till 3am (and every two hours after that) trying to get her to sleep and then making sure she didn't throw up again in her sleep and choke.

New Years day was spent recuperating and we thought she was over it. However, just about a half hour ago today she started spewing again. Ah, the joys of parenthood!

I'm really hoping this isn't an omen of how the rest of this year is going to go. ;)

I feel your pain.

The end of 2007 was marked by my 2 yr. old getting through scarlet fever. Once that was seeing daylight, my youngest (9 mos.) got a serious flu which has started off the new year with projectile vomiting and even less sleep than before.

Good times...
