Santa Fe
We went into Santa Fe every day that we were at the Emergent Gathering, usually in the morning for breakfast at Harry's Roadhouse (their salmon & scrambled eggs is incredible!), and in the evenings too for some fabulous New Mexican cuisine. We also chose to stay an extra day so we could spend Friday afternoon doing the tourist thing in Santa Fe. As it turned out, we chose a great time for it, as the Albuquerque hot air balloon festival was going on and Santa Fe was packed with people and events. There was a car show, live music in the park, and all the shops were hoppin'. Santa Fe is known for its art, and we saw many examples of some amazing bronze sculpture, both in the galleries:

and at the famous Santa Fe Cathedral (the oldest cathedral in the U.S.):

The best part of the day however was watching Emma dance to the live music in the central Plaza. This girl just loves to dance!
